The Forres Angus Stud is located on the Williams River at Dungog in the lower Hunter Valley of NSW, 220 kms north of Sydney, 52kms north of Maitland and 80 kms north west of Newcastle.

It is a comfortable 2½ hours drive from the centre of Sydney mainly along the F3 Freeway.

The main street of Dungog is Dowling Street. If approaching from Maitland, Clarence Town or Singleton via Gresford, proceed north along Dowling Street and turn left into Fosterton Road immediately prior to the railway crossing. If approaching from Gloucester and the north, turn right into Fosterton Road immediately after the railway crossing. The saleyard is located 3.4 kms on the right hand side.
